Learn more about 'conversions', what they are and why you should care in this guide.
We refer to conversion elements as “CTAs,” and they encompass ads, social sharing buttons, subscription sequences, or anything that requires further action by a reader or customer.
What is a "conversion" and why is conversion tracking important?
With Readz, you are able to track any call-to-action elements you may have on your page. We also refer to these elements as “CTAs,” and they encompass ads, social sharing buttons, subscription sequences, or anything that requires further action by the customer.

To access our conversion tracking tool, your account on Readz must first be at least "Growth" or higher. Please contact sales@readz.com if you would like to talk with us about adding conversions to your Readz account.
For example, a user entering their email and clicking ‘Subscribe’ would be a conversion. A consumer clicking ‘Buy’ on an eCommerce website would also be a conversion.
Conversions let you track effectively whether visitors are interacting with your content.

Adding a conversion to an element
4. Assign a goal to the element
Select an existing goal from the “Goal” drop-down menu or
Create a new one by clicking “Manage Goals”
Click “Create” while in the “Manage Conversion Goals” window.
Choose a name for this new goal. In the example below, I chose to name my goal “Ads,” since this element is an ad.
Using the Conversion Analytics Dashboard
From the dropdown, select the URL for which you want to view data. If you want to view the data for a specific project, you can select it from project dropdown, too.
To adjust the time frame shown, you can adjust from the time frames provided.
Step by Step: Checking and Understanding your Analytics Click on Analytics on the Dashboard and then the Conversions tab.
1. Select the project you want to measure.
2.Select Ads (the goal you just created for tracking the Ads) from the Goal drop-down menu
4. Scroll to “Conversions by page”
5. Expand the page you want to check
6. A list of all the ads in that page will be displayed. This will give anyone who looks at analytics an overview of how each call-to-action is doing. This is another reason it’s important to apply specific and intuitive nomenclature to your elements.
7. Here you can see the amount of times each of your ads was clicked in the selected page. The number in the Conversions column tells you how many times that specific ad was clicked on that page. The number in the Entrances column tells you how many times that page was viewed. The third column, Conversion Ratio, shows you the conversion ratio of each ad.
